Comment: all good stuff but won’t be enough for “non-responders” to move the scales. Nevertheless these habits should be basic (well except for the sex one) for anyone with weight issues. - The Dos and Donts for Effective Fat Loss – Former Fat Guy
Another good list. This one is a bit more high-tech including prescriptions for low-GI food and supplementing EFAs.
- Diet Tips & More for a Healthy and Trim Body – Lifehack
Looks at all the major elements of the diets and throws in a “long life cocktail recipe. - Simple Things You Can Do to Lose Weight – Zen Habits
Some basic ideas but little guidance on how to approach food … and for crying out loud please exercise for more than 5 minutes a day.

So what’s Missing from the advice?
- Increase Calcium intake perhaps by consuming low-fat yogurt (avoid fat-free yogurt as it’s usually loaded with sugar)
