Gross as it sounds, the rat thing is exactly why omnivores have a higher chance of survival. Omnivores are opportunists.
During Omnivory Month on my blog, I meant to get some chocolate covered ants, but I never got around to it. Imagine.
Watching the kid and the chicken I wondered who was predator and who was prey.

Great – I hadn’t read that before
